The past few weeks have been difficult ones for both myself and Ivan. We are so thankful to the family and friends that have personally taken time to reach out to us and encourage us during these difficult times.
Additionally, it is an enormous blessing that besides those who have shared a visit or conversation, sent an email or given a hug we know that there are so many more who are also sending up prayers. We continually thank God for every prayer that is given up on our behalf. It is our prayer that we do not take these gifts of supplication to Our Heavenly Father for granted.
This month will hopefully be one of answers. In the following weeks I will be having several tests done. I have an MRI and an appointment with the neurologist. It will have been over a year since my first MRI. The doctor hopes to be able to compare the two and see if there are more white plaque spots than last time. This would be an indication that MS is a possibility. Secondly I will be having a gastroscopy and colonoscopy. The surgeon hopes to get an idea of the health my gastro-intestinal track and also take some biopsies from the stomach and small and large intestines.
Prayer Requests:
- for the doctors as they perform and interpret tests
- for peace and patience as we await results
- for sleep (Ivan and myself continue to struggle with a good night’s sleep)
- for Kaelyn and Jacob as they are at Ruth’s by themselves for two weeks
